Injury Biomechanics | Human Factors | Accident Reconstruction
Forensic analysis grounded in physics, kinematics, and peer-reviewed literature — applied to the facts of your case.
Moon Forensic Consulting provides litigation support to plaintiff and defense counsel across the United States. Each analysis is built from the available physical evidence, applicable engineering principles, and the bounds of what the data can defensibly support — no more, no less.
Methodologically Defensible. Scope-Disciplined.
Forensic biomechanics quantifies the forces acting on the human body during an incident and evaluates whether those forces are consistent with the injuries reported. It does not diagnose injuries, assign medical causation, or substitute for clinical opinion. Maintaining that distinction is what allows expert opinion to withstand cross-examination and Daubert scrutiny.

Rebuttal Analysis
A significant portion of the practice is dedicated to evaluating opposing expert reports for methodological soundness, scope discipline, and fidelity to the underlying physical evidence. Rebuttal engagements are accepted on the same basis as affirmative opinions: only where the evidence supports a defensible position.
